One of the good businesses you can venture into in Nigeria is the "nylon production business". This business is quite a profitable one, as the demand for nylon is on the high side. Nylons are needed daily for individual and business purposes.
The raw materials used for the production of nylons are made from petroleum. They include Escorene, Dow, A.S.F and Master Berg. Master Berg is the colouring agent for producing different colours of nylons. The Dow or
B.A.S.F or Escorene is what is poured into the heating unit of the extruder machine.

Starting a nylon business takes a great deal of steps and understanding. You need to get your business registered and obtain the necessary documents. However, the following tips will guide you on how you can go about the nylon business successfully;
1. Gain Some Experience!
It makes no sense to venture into a business you know nothing about. You can attend seminars and trade workshops to develop and empower yourself.
You can also approach people who are into the business to put you through. Note that it is better to approach someone who is not sraying in your locality. Your neighbors might not give you a detailed information in order to avoid competition.
2. Source for Start-up Capital
The size of the business will determine the capital you need. • Nylon Cutting Machine:
This machine is responsible for cutting the polythene into the various sizes which are needed. The nylon cutting machine (foreign double checker machine) should cost you around N3 million or more, while the local one would cost you about N1 million or more.
• Punching Machine:
This machine particularly punches holes of various shapes which will serve as handles. The punching machine (foreign hydraulic) will cost you around N1 million, while the local one will cost around N500, 000 – N800, 000.
• Printing Machine:
This machine is for creating designs on the nylon sheets. The high definition of this machine will cost you around N1.5 million – N2.5 million, while the low definition will cost you around N1.5 million.
