Causes of Stubborn Pimples you should Know
Some people have had to battle with stubborn pimples on the face for some time. This may be happening because of not taking cognisance of some things that may cause this reaction. A pimple is the build up of sebum in the pores of the skin.
Too Much Cholesterol in the Body:
The cholesterol in the body is there for certain purposes. Cholesterol can however cause certain health issues in the body when it is excess. When there is a concentration of cholesterol in the body beyond the amount needed by the body it causes stubborn pimples as well. Certain food carries cholesterol in them. Consuming too much of these foods will allow the unpleasant settlement of cholesterol in the body.
Hereditary:
Pimples can be genetically transferred. People whose parents have had to fight stubborn pimples during their life time are more likely to have pimples even though they work on limiting the causes. Pimples in the blood line can be easily triggered to form on the face even when there is not excess cholesterol in the body as mentioned above. The situation becomes very bad if both parents have record of stubborn pimples. The children will need more care to avoid such and also spend more resources trying to get rid of the pimples.
According to Liji Thomas, MD, Acne is linked to family history, in fact most individuals with acne have one or more siblings with the condition, and one or both parents have a positive acne history. In addition, research has shown a strong genetic causation. Several studies in twins reported that the level of causation of acne due to genetic variation between individuals was between 50 to 90%.
Several genetic models have been explored to find the level of heritability. The ACE model showed that genetic variation was responsible for 81% of the disease variance. Thus environmental factors were responsible for less than 20% of the condition’s phenotype. These include factors such as birth weight, body mass index, height, and present weight. Other features include androgen excess symptoms such as hair loss or balding, and other features of metabolic syndrome or polycystic ovarian syndrome, including the levels of various lipoproteins and of glucose. These findings have stimulated further research to identify the genes responsible, which can, in turn, help to find more effective remedies.
This high level of heritability was linked to a particular gene region in Americans of European origin with severe teenage acne, namely, the SNP rs4133274 on chromosome 8q24. This is upstream of the MYC region which is also responsible for androgen regulation via androgen receptor expression.
Fungi and Bacteria Infection: Fungi and bacteria infection occurs in man subsequently based on environmental health hazards and exposure to contaminated food. The presence of fungi and bacteria in the body can have many terrible effects on the body. Some people have to deal with body odour, itching, irritation on the skin and other issues. Pimples are also formed when there is presence of fungi and bacteria in the body. This can be treated by using certain anti-fungi and anti-bacterial drugs based on doctor’s recommendation.
Consuming too much fatty food: Foods with fat and oil, tend to trigger build up of sebum in the pores of the skin. Some of the signs are having too much oil in the body is extremely oily skin. The oil sometimes finds its way out of the body through the skin pores. The oil is very important for the body to keep the skin refreshed especially in very dry weather conditions like winter or haze. Some people actually use drugs that will help them have oily skins. This however becomes very annoying with other troubling consequences such as stubborn pimples when there is too much oil in the body.

It is always advised to leave pimples to dry out on its own or clean up the sebum when the pimple bursts open. This well helps to keep bacteria away from settling on the face. The allowance of the pus on the face can suddenly cause multiple pimples breaking out on the face. This can be really annoying. Certain cleansers can also be used to thoroughly clean up the face and get rid of dirt hidden in the skin pores.

Shortage of water in the body can cause regular formation of pimples. It is important to drink enough water regularly to help regulate circulation of fluids in the body and promote healthy metabolic activities. Water is easily accessible and should be taken as often as possible daily to help keep the skin refreshed and free from threats such as pimples.
